United Home Builders was founded on a simple belief: building a home should be about more than lumber, concrete, and finishes. It should be about trust, quality, and relationships.
With decades of experience across construction, project management, logistics, and leadership, we saw an opportunity to build a different kind of construction company — one where homeowners are treated like partners, communication matters, and every project receives the attention it deserves.
That idea became United Home Builders.
The name represents what we believe makes a successful project, which is bringing homeowners, craftsmen, suppliers, and builders together around one common goal —building something we can all be proud of.
Michael Dalton
Michael brings more than 35 years of leadership, project management, and logistics experience to United Home Builders. A 20-year U.S. Army veteran, Michael continued his public service for another 15 years, managing complex projects, coordinating people and resources, and building a career rooted in accountability, organization, and getting the job done right.
His construction experience has included everything from decks and additions to custom homes. Today, Michael brings those worlds together at United Home Builders, applying a disciplined, hands-on approach to planning and managing each project. An active member of the local community, he believes good construction begins with integrity and dependable service — and that the relationships built along the way matter just as much as the finished project.
Rick Conley
Rick is a lifelong Middle Tennessee resident with more than 32 years of experience in the construction industry. For 26 of those years, he has owned and operated a masonry construction company, building a reputation for quality craftsmanship, integrity, and dedication to the community he calls home.
Outside of construction, Rick is a local pastor, husband of 25 years to his wife, Tracy, father of five, and grandfather of 15. Serving others has long been one of the most important parts of his life, and he brings that same heart to United Home Builders. Whether helping a family build a new home or improve the one they already love, Rick considers it a privilege to be part of the process and is committed to making the experience a good one — with quality work, personal attention, and trust from the first conversation through the final details.
